Hardtail Mountainbikes hire in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

If you want to hire a mountain bike in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, our hardtail MTBs are the right choice: among our non-electric bikes they are the only ones that allow you to explore the gravel tracks and unpaved paths around Las Palmas, be it Confital beach, the Guiniguada canyon or the “Los Giles” hill. Of course the MTBs are also an excellent choice for bumpy minor roads. There they offer air-sprung ride comfort, powerful brakes and tyres for steep descents, and a low gear ratio for the steepest climbs.

All our hardtails have a sturdy yet lightweight aluminium frame, a mostly air-sprung fork, as a rule a Shimano 1×12 drivetrain and Shimano disc brakes with 180 mm rotors.

We deliberately do not offer full-suspension downhill bikes for extreme experiences such as jumps or extreme trails. Please note: damage to the bikes caused by scratches, bottom-outs, jumps and the like is by no means included in the rental price.

Included in the rental price are a helmet and a repair kit (tube, tyre levers, pump), and a chain lock on request. We have Shimano and Look system pedals in stock and fit them at no extra cost. Luggage racks can be fitted for multi-day tours.

Important: off-road use policy

Local off-road conditions on Gran Canaria are much more aggressive than in Central Europe: sea-salt-laden sand and sharp volcanic gravel take a heavy toll on the material. That is why every bike that has been ridden off-road has to be carefully cleaned and relubricated.

If you use the mountain bike exclusively on asphalt, you get it at the next lower price level. The discount is granted after return, provided the bike is returned without any signs of off-road use.

Well prepared for the island? Before you set off, it is worth reading our guide.
