The Honda SH350i is the most powerful scooter in our rental fleet in Las Palmas — built for riders who already hold an A2 or A motorcycle licence and want noticeably more power, safety and touring comfort than any 125cc scooter can offer. With 29 hp (21.6 kW), the SH350i has more than double the power of our 125cc models — a difference you’ll really feel uphill, riding two-up, and when overtaking lorries or buses on Gran Canaria’s mountain roads. What licence do I need to hire the Honda SH350i?
The SH350i can only be hired and ridden with an A2 or A motorcycle licence. Unlike our 125cc scooters, a standard car licence (category B) is not sufficient here. Please bring your valid motorcycle licence with you at pick-up — without an A2 or A licence we’re unable to rent out the SH350i.
Is the SH350i really that much more powerful than a 125cc scooter?
Yes. At 29 hp (21.6 kW), the SH350i has more than double the power of our Honda PCX 125 (12.5 hp / 9.2 kW). You’ll notice it most going uphill and riding two-up: climbs are handled far more easily, and overtaking lorries or buses on mountain roads is much more confident than on a 125cc scooter.
Can I explore the whole island on the SH350i, including the mountain roads?
Yes, the SH350i is ideal for island touring — including more demanding routes into the highlands towards Tejeda or Artenara. Its extra power and torque mean climbs feel noticeably more relaxed two-up than on a 125cc scooter.
What does the dual-channel ABS on the SH350i actually give me?
The dual-channel ABS works on both the front and rear wheel, preventing wheel lock-up under hard braking — a genuine safety advantage on winding mountain roads or when road surfaces change. Combined with traction control, the SH350i offers more safety margin than our 125cc models.
How much luggage can I carry two-up on the SH350i?
Thanks to a higher payload of around 180 kg, the SH350i still has comfortable reserves for luggage even riding two-up. As with all our scooters, a rear top case is included in the rental price, and the under-seat storage fits a helmet plus small extras.
Do I need a credit card to pay?
No – we accept all common payment methods: cash, credit card, debit card and other forms of payment. A credit card is not mandatory.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required – the amount varies depending on the type of vehicle. Details are provided at pick-up or on request.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. You can start and return the vehicle at any time during our opening hours – completely flexible around your schedule.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
For scooters 125cc and 350cc a third-party liability insurance with an excess of 600 € is included.
How does the rental process work?
Walk-in: Simply come to the shop, choose your vehicle and rent it. Please bring your ID and (for scooters) your driving licence. Photocopies or phone photos of documents are not accepted – originals only. Book in advance: Available via website, email or WhatsApp. Please note: for bookings made well in advance, a minimum rental period of 3 days applies.
Are extras available and do they cost extra?
Yes – depending on the vehicle type, we offer extras such as helmets, locks, top boxen or Mobile phone holders. Some extras are free of charge, others are available at an additional cost. Details at pick-up.
