The Honda PCX 125 is within the last years one of the worlds best selling scooters and that is caused in its unique mix of positive qualities. Our Honda PCX rental scooters are good-looking, comfortable, easy maneuverable and despite of its low fuel consume of only 2,2 l per 1000 km offering a market leading strong torque of 12 Nm at only 5000 rpm and 8,5 kW motor power. Strong enough to ride fast on the highway or to climb up to the top of the Gran Canaria mountains. The Honda PCX 125 has the longest wheelbase and the longest seat in our fleet — exactly what makes it the ideal scooter when two adults want to ride together. Even riders over 180 cm still sit comfortably with a passenger, without feeling cramped on the seat. Compared with the more compact Honda SH Mode 125, the PCX is a little heavier, but runs smoother with two people on board and is more comfortable over longer distances across the island.

Is the Honda PCX 125 really better suited for two people than other scooters?
Yes. The PCX 125 has the longest wheelbase and the longest seat in our scooter fleet, giving rider and passenger noticeably more legroom. Even taller riders (over 180 cm) still sit comfortably with a passenger. Compared with the more compact Honda SH Mode, the PCX is our clear recommendation for couples or anyone hiring a scooter for two.
What licence do I need for the Honda PCX 125cc?
For all our 125cc scooters, an A1, A2, A or B licence is sufficient (category B only if held for at least 3 years). No specific motorcycle licence is required for the PCX.
Is the PCX 125 suitable for beginners?
Due to its extra weight and longer wheelbase, the PCX feels a touch less agile than the SH Mode, but remains easy to ride thanks to the automatic gearbox. We do require a minimum level of riding experience (e.g. with a 50cc scooter). For safety reasons, we don’t hire out to absolute first-time riders — regardless of the model.
How far can I get on a full tank with the PCX 125?
The 8.1-litre tank, combined with fuel consumption of around 2.1 l/100 km, gives a range of roughly 385 km — enough for a full island loop of Gran Canaria with just one or two fuel stops.
Is there enough storage on the PCX for luggage when riding two-up?
Yes — as with all our scooters, a rear top case/pannier is included in the rental price. Combined with the PCX’s under-seat storage, there’s room for 2 helmets plus some luggage for two people (jackets, small bags, etc.).
Do I need a credit card to pay?
No – we accept all common payment methods: cash, credit card, debit card and other forms of payment. A credit card is not mandatory.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required – the amount varies depending on the type of vehicle. Details are provided at pick-up or on request.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. You can start and return the vehicle at any time during our opening hours – completely flexible around your schedule.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
For scooters 125cc and 350cc a third-party liability insurance with an excess of 600 € is included.
How does the rental process work?
Walk-in: Simply come to the shop, choose your vehicle and rent it. Please bring your ID and (for scooters) your driving licence. Photocopies or phone photos of documents are not accepted – originals only. Book in advance: Available via website, email or WhatsApp. Please note: for bookings made well in advance, a minimum rental period of 3 days applies.
Are extras available and do they cost extra?
Yes – depending on the vehicle type, we offer extras such as helmets, locks, top boxen or Mobile phone holders. Some extras are free of charge, others are available at an additional cost. Details at pick-up.
