Which scooter hire is right for my trip?

The light and agile Honda SH Mode 125 is great for island tours around Las Palmas with a single rider or two smaller riders. Its low step-through frame gives extra freedom of movement or room for a bag.

The Honda PCX 125 has a longer seat, bigger tank and more storage. It’s the better 125cc option to rent for longer tours or riding with a passenger.

The Honda SH350i offers significantly more power in reserve. Every destination on Gran Canaria is reached faster, and overtaking uphill becomes possible too. It’s ideal to hire for experienced riders with an A2 or A licence, steep mountain roads, and longer routes two-up.

What licence do I need to hire a scooter?

For our 125cc models, licence categories A1, A2 or A are accepted. An EU-valid category B licence held for at least three years also allows you to rent a 125cc scooter.

The Honda SH350i requires an A2 or A licence.
You’ll always need to show a physical, original driving licence at pick-up — we’re unable to verify phone photos, photocopies or licence apps. It’s also worth noting that in the event of a police check, officers need to be able to read and accept the licence, which the standard European format always guarantees.

Is insurance included in the rental price?

Third-party liability insurance and comprehensive cover with a 600 € excess are included as standard on all our scooters. Damage to the rental vehicle, theft, personal injury and other risks are therefore only covered up to a limit — full “zero-excess” cover that removes all risk isn’t something we offer, as it can encourage carelessness and risk-taking. Please bear in mind that negotiating over the deposit or insurance terms tends to suggest you’re not fully confident about returning the vehicle undamaged.

What documents do I need?

You’ll need a valid original ID/passport and the matching original driving licence. Photos, apps or copies of documents can’t be accepted, as they’re too easy to falsify. Like every vehicle rental company in Spain, we’re legally required to submit driver data — including passport or ID details — to an official government portal without exception. Please make sure your details are accurate, as this is also a submission to the authorities.

Can I book in advance?

Yes. You can reserve via our website, by email or via WhatsApp. Please include:
your exact rental dates and preferred model (plus a backup model in case of unavailability)
number of riders and passengers
rider’s age
licence category
country and date of issue
For bookings made well in advance, a minimum rental period of three days applies.

Do I need a credit card to pay?

No – we accept all common payment methods: cash, credit card, debit card and other forms of payment. A credit card is not mandatory.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required – the amount varies depending on the type of vehicle. Details are provided at pick-up or on request.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. You can start and return the vehicle at any time during our opening hours – completely flexible around your schedule.

Is insurance included in the rental price?

For scooters 125cc and 350cc a third-party liability insurance with an excess of 600 € is included.

How does the rental process work?

Walk-in: Simply come to the shop, choose your vehicle and rent it. Please bring your ID and (for scooters) your driving licence. Photocopies or phone photos of documents are not accepted – originals only. Book in advance: Available via website, email or WhatsApp. Please note: for bookings made well in advance, a minimum rental period of 3 days applies.

Are extras available and do they cost extra?

Yes – depending on the vehicle type, we offer extras such as helmets, locks, top boxen or Mobile phone holders. Some extras are free of charge, others are available at an additional cost. Details at pick-up.
